I love surprises and I love when an artist I appreciate comes out with something totally unexpected but totally excellent. Straight from the first notes of Unstoppable, the latest offering from Sean J and his partner in crime Soy, I was blown away and my head kept nodding uncontrollably to the crazy beat. The heavy rhythm of the drums, the energy brought by the horns and the sample create a very original and addictive atmosphere which raises the replay factor to very high levels. Soy did an awesome job and I now expect other gems like this one on the upcoming Ego Egg mixtape (soon-to-be-released on Domination Recordings).
Then, of course Sean J is true to himself and uses his ‘lovely voice’ (I couldn’t help but quote this one) to deliver an energetic and inspiring message. He definitely seems to be Unstoppable and I totally believe him when he says ‘I keep it moving… I don’t stop’. This is of course great news for people who appreciate his work and who are looking forward to hearing more from him. As usual, Sean displays his effortless and versatile flow as well as clever rhymes and wordplay, which make him the talented MC that he is known to be. This track will be the first track of the Ego Egg mixtape and it is indeed a great opening, putting you in a very good mood and filling you with energy.
